Our last night.
We are spending our last night tonight in our Monty. I'm writing this from the campground. For the most part we have enjoyed this trailer. However there were just a few things that finally pushed us over the edge.
Hopefully we did not make a wrong choice in purchasing our new 2011 Cameo 37CKLSL with full body paint. We negotiated a great deal. We pick it up next Friday.
It's been fun being with everyone the last few years.

Everybody needs to do what they need to do and makes them happy. Just remember, you will always be part of the "Montana" family no matter which rig you own

You know your all correct. I can still be here. Now I'm not so down. I think I'll stay. I just won't have much to talk about, or I hope there won't be much to talk about .

I'm pretty sure any complaints will be similar, any modifications adaptable, and many interior parts and appliances interchangeable.
I belong to other Forums as well and enjoy them all. I hope we still see you around this one, et2.
Congrats on the new Cameo!

First of all congratulations on your new purchase! There are many things that are similar in all rigs which are made by the same manufacture. This forum can still be of help if you need it. Where here so just ask anyway if you have a question. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from your new camper.

Let us know whether or not you have any of the types of problems that seem to be akin to all the RV units, not just Keystone products like some may think.

We just looked at a new Cameo that a neighboring camper just bought that has the full body paint. Very nice RV!! He was pulling it with a Ford 450 which was also new (and great looking). Enjoy your new rig!!

I know exactly what you mean. We too are proud owners of a trouble free (so far) SOB. Congratulations on your new purchase.

Well, I can say this forum is a lot more fun to visit than the Carriage forum. It is really dry over there. I had much better response with questions on our new fiver at RV.net.
We picked our new Cameo up on Friday. After a 2 hour drive we spent the next 7 hours at the dealer. For the most part it went smooth ( until we got home). Two burnt out lights and a Big Foot hydraulic jack that was leaking and need to be replaced, coffee table was missing. So we waited most the day for the jack to arrive and installed before our trip home.
It pulled great. I notice a lot less clunking while turning on the rear suspension compared to the Montana we had. Everything on that trailer was tight, so that is odd.
We found some issues after getting home we missed during the PDI. The kitchen table won't open to get the leaf out. Some of the bay latches are barely working (cheap latches). Some interior slide side molding was loose, one fell off, Not even nailed on. Some rubber stripping (seals) on the back of the slide fascia to seal outside when closed are not installed to well and might need to be replaced. One screw missing from a ceiling fan blade attaching it to the motor (fan wobbles).
But for the most part it went better than most we have purchased. The trailer was actually clean for a change. It took two days to get it loaded back up and ready to camp.
First trip coming up soon! Can't wait.
