I've noticed that I have to reboot the gateway on occasion. I don't have a switch so I guess it's time to install one. Anyone have this problem?

I see our on-order Montana will come with the 4g lte gateway. Am I correct that 360+ unit is not included? This is all very new. We’ve had only directv on our house since 2000 and RV since 2003. Upgraded to SWM for coach and ditched DVR service altogether plus in house. Plan is to use Apple TV exclusively. We don’t watch sports and have no need for local stations. I am unsure of what this system can do for us other than provide a whole rig hotspot. That we can utilize, having used an att hotspot in the past for iPads (limited to searching, browsing, email, not streaming entertainment or any sort of uploading.

The 360 is standard. The gateway is optional. You'll need a data plan for the gateway to work. I have a T-Mobile 100 GB $50 per month plan. They gave me a sim card that I inserted into the gateway. It provides 4G data wifi to the trailer, truck and cell phones. As long as you have service. So far it's worked well. There was only one camp spot that it didn't work. But there was 200 RV's all pulling data at the same time. Depending on where you're located and camping will determine what carrier you want to use.



I did install a switch so I can cycle the gateway when needed.

As stated, your coach will come with the 360 which is a tv antenna, WiFi antenna and cell booster combo. You can use a data plan or connect to any WiFi. I am currently in the boonies in Alaska - no cell, no text, no WiFi signal, no Dish. My WiFi source to the gateway is StarLink, coming from my Eero router (StarLink in bridge mode). Our traveling companion has one of my Eero satellites. We are both using it to stream TV. I use a Roku stick. Most of my devices (Cerbo GX, In Command, Echo, smart plugs) are connected via the Gateway. TV is connected to Eero for 5ghz. The reason is higher throughput for streaming. Enjoy that new Montana.
