Black plastic closet door latches
It finally happened, we broke one of the black plastic mirrored closet door latches. Does anyone know the part number and/or supply source for them?

When you get new ones put a small o ring with 1/8 will thickness between the latch and the door frame and it will make the door easier to open and prevent this from happening again.

I picked up some at a national rally, but if you google RV closet door latch you'll get a lot of options like this from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Mirrored-Latch...closet+latches
After I stocked up, I did as MLH suggests and put the o rings behind them and haven't had one break in the last three years.

I know about the o rings on the old style clear plastic but didn't know to do it on the later style black ones.
Wow Dick I just clicked your link $22.80 for two plastic clips...seriously?

I've not tried the o rings on the new clips. I just made new ones. I know they won't break.

Wasn't trying to do your shopping for you, just telling you how to look. Here's a better price: http://www.adventurerv.net/mirrored-...OsNhoCwobw_wcB
Might be cheaper if you hunt around further, but they aren't cheap.

Thanks Dick, I wasn't asking you to do my shopping. I did not know if they were Keystone specific rather than an off the shelf item. We have very limited internet until sometime next week but that's another story, so my online time has been limited. We will not be moving until April so it's not something I need immediately.
