Ceiling Fan Light

Anyone change the bulb for the Ceiling fan light? I have to believe the frosted glass cover must be well attached to prevent it from coming off while in transit. I hope to avoid taking the whole fixture down to learn.

Mine fell off along with the bulb last year. Fortunately the cover did not break but he bulb did. I think mine is a different cover than yours tho.

I decided to wade through the paperwork that came with the rig and actually found something. It is a screw in glass shade. I will apply a bit more pressure to remove it.

It is threaded so to speak, I think three places fit three grooves in the glass. I worried it after I had mine apart but so far its still up there. Theres no way you can put it back together as tight as it was.
