We also have a Splenda. Love it. Be aware that your washer may not dump to your grey water tank but directly out as ours does. 2013 model RV 2008 3400RL

Building a base is a good idea. Our base sits on top of cross supports since the factory manufactured base was insufficient. Note that this base, the perimeter of wood acts as a drip pan to a drain hole and is also spaced such to capture the washers feet to prevent movement.

We were thinking of a washer and dryer but we were too worried about water damage. Had a mishap before with flooding and ended up getting our TT recarpeted. We just use a small portable one and take it outside then hang them up on the laundry rack that goes on our ladder.
