2020 Ford F-350 SRW
Does anyone here have a new 2020 Ford F-350 Long Bed SRW? If so, what is the number on the yellow door sticker for payload capacity? Also, let me know what trim level you have as well.

Be aware that there's more to that, than just the number. You can actually get an F350 with a 10,000 GVWR, and that will effect payload. Makes no sense to me why you would want one of those, but it is an option...

Some states push trucks to commercial licensing over 10,000 GVWR and require extra money for registration, insurance, and I believe licensing requirements for the driver, so I've been told. Same question regarding the F250's.

I misspoke. I understand the "why" they have the option. But what I don't understand is why if you live in one of those states you would ever consider a 350 truck? 250 has the same payload, and you're correct that the 250 actually has higher than 10K as well, so getting the 10K option there is down rating it as well.
It would be like buying a new Vette, and ordering the 75MPH option, because that's the speed limit in your state...

When we bought our truck, I MADE the dealer take a picture of the door sticker before we bought the truck, since we had to drive 200 miles to get our truck. I couldn't physically look at it before buying it...

And the ratings could vary as much as over 1,000 lbs from high to low for an F350 SRW. But I haven't been able to find those publications lately.

OMG Guys, I wasn't trying to start a discussion about GVWR/GCWR, just wanted to know what the payload sticker was on the truck they had.
We've all read the discussion on that topic and we know it always ends bad.
Sorry I asked the question.

Discussions often drift off the original question. But here I think there was a legitimate attempt to say that due to the multiple variables one sticker doesn’t necessarily give an accurate picture.

Moral of the story: Don't buy that new truck until you have verified the numbers on the Door Pillar sticker or you could get stuck with a TV that's more than capable yet not legally because of the MFR fudging the numbers.

Why they make any diesel with a 10,000 max rating is ridiculous. Scaled weight is the other half of the equitation. A 3/4ton, 10,000 lbs - weight was 8800 lbs loaded to go - that left NO room for pin …

Lots of things can affect GVWR. When I bought my TV the dealer was surprised to see that 20" wheels gave lower GVWR than 18" wheels. I wanted 11,500 GVWR and the only way to get it in 2013 was with 18" wheels.

One more load chart
So this is from the 2020 Superduty brochure. Listed are the GVW for different truck/engine combinations. My 2017 F-250 had a GVW of 10,000 lbs. As noted previously by others, not a lot of useful load is available. Note, the the figures listed in the 2020 brochure vary a little depending on the cab size and 2 versus 4 wheel drive. The base weight for a F350 crew cab 4WD with the diesel option is around 7,820 leaving an available payload of 4580 lbs. I apologize if I haven’t answered the OPs basic question he sought.

I have two friends with 2019’s. Both are the same just a bit over 3400 lbs payload. One is a long bed XLT, and the other is a Lariat, short bed.
Both are 3500’s, with the diesel. I was surprised they were the same payload nearly. Also with the long having the big fuel tank.

The long bed decreases the payload by about 200 lbs. I have the lariat and the higher your package the lower your payload.
