True. Sometimes it's not an accident because they meant to do it.

No, it is if you train the dog or the dog trains you. All
Most like who is smarter, the person or the dog.

Dogs and RV
We have met many people who have dogs that camp in RV. Many, including us, started traveling with RV’s because they want to travel with their dogs. Most people walk them often and take them out frequently. As stated by others you may need to keep things clean when there is an “accident”.
I used to laugh at people walking dogs with retractable leash until I became one that did. The dogs love it and we meet a lot of nice people while walking.
An RV is like a stick house regarding cleanliness. Some stink and some don’t depending on the owners efforts.

Many CGs have a 6’ leash rule. It is enforced where we are now. I’m cheating with an 8’ leash and have not heard about it yet but have a 6’ in case I do.
Current dog like the last is if he needs to go between walks he goes to the door and quietly barks. He gets a cookie after doing what he has to outside.

Our dog is trained (or maybe we are) but we both work and sometimes he can't wait. He is trained to a pad that is on a tray for those instances and I don't think that is any worse than a cat litter box so don't give me a hard time about it.
We love our dog, take our responsibility seriously and have made a LOT of accommodations and sacrifices for him. From what I have seen of other RV dog owners I expect the same is true of most.
But I am also realistic. Having an animal in the residence is more than likely going to create some smell. Heck even humans can be rather smelly at times. I'm just not one of those folks that says my pets or my kids are perfect.

My dog isn’t perfect. He takes protection of us and our homes too seriously. He rarely barks and when he does he is in protective mode or saying he needs outside. He a spoiled mommas boy but has never done inside what’s to be done outside.

We have two chihuahuas and from the day we got them at about 6 weeks old we taught them to NOT bark. And now they are VERY quiet! It is not hard, but you must be consistent.
