Another newbie question

Does the breakaway switch on my 2008 2955 rl have its own battery, if yes where is it.

No it works of off the main battery.

Also, it is not intended as an emergency brake, just a breakaway switch. Don't use it to try and hold the rig in place.

When pulled it keeps the brake magnets energized and will run down the battery. Like Dick said not a parking brake.
