Ford GVWR sticker

In a previous topic I posted that on a Ford the rear axle ratio was on the GVWR sticker. That fact was reputed. I have taken a picture of my neighbors 2011 F350 sticker showing he has a 3.73 locking rear axle. This is displayed on the GVWR sticker as a 3L in the axle option codes.

I suspect this post refers to my comment and I quote.

"I don't think the axle ratio is shown on the sticker on the door but the GVWR and both GAWR for front and rear axles should be shown on that sticker."

My intent was not to "refute" the fact that it is, only that I did not "think" it was since it is not on my Dodge nor will it be on the posters Dodge sticker being the same year as mine. Wonder if it is on the GM sticker.

I have learned something, thanks for that, however I had a tough time finding that designation in my searches, I did come up with one but there was no supporting link. Proof is in the picture that the axle ratio is indeed shown on the Ford sticker and that it is designated as a 3L on the neighbors 2011.

Thanks for setting me straight and informing the MOC members.
