Jacks and slides INOP

Just arrived at a RV park. The front jacks worked to get it off the truck. Then stopped working. The rear jacks also do not work. Tried the slides and they also do not work. All other systems appear to be working. Battery is good and hooked to shore power and ac seems to be on. Not sure what is common between the two or are two issues?

Any ideas.

Desperate on a Friday afternoon.

Could you have tripped the inline fuse(s) in the front storage near battery?

There are inline fuses in the area of the battery box have you checked them.

Depending on the model, the in line fuses are much larger than 15A....30/40, maybe larger.

For that age I believe it's a 40amp.

Are you using the remote? If so, check the battery. You could also have low water in your coach battery. Also check battery connections for corrosion.

Fuses good. Called a mobile service and was fixed in a few minutes.
The control circuit had power but the internal relay was not energized. Put a ground on
One of the connectors, second from top on left side. Relay energized and now works.

Will see if this is a permanent fix. Has anyone replaced the control panel? Remote sti does not work. Appears to not be talking to the control panel, tried programming
It several times.

Thanks for the help

Hi

Loss of the ground is a common problem with these units.

However like HOOK I am interested in what changes Keystone has made to make it work with a 15 amp fuse?

David,

We have the same model as you and had the same issue twice. The second time I opted to do the fix like your mobile guy did rather replacing the control module only to expect it to fail in the future. Here is a link to my post with details on the fix: http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ad.php?t=46515 I have been operating like this for a couple of years now with no issues. Remote still works and so do the switches on the outside.
The replacement module is about $200........again, not something I wanted to replace that I thought would fail again. The first time it was replaced, the rig was still under warranty.
