TSB for Dodge for 1989-2012 list.

Here's a PDF file following all the TSB's that came out for this year.

Thanks for linking to that, very interesting reading.

Reading through that document only reaffirms my decision to go with the last of the 5.9 CTD models, a 2007 5.9 CTD over an '07 or later model year with the "new and improved" 6.7CTD. Many, many TSB's about the DPF, fuel delivery system, etc., etc.... on those newer models.

Issues with variable-vane turbochargers not working right, DPF regeneration problems, required to use ultra-low sulpher and not low sulpher fuel, newer electronic gadget(remote start, anti-theft, etc.) problems, emission sensor problems, the list goes on and on.

It just goes to prove that if you want to eff-up something that works as good as it is supposed to, let the EPA and CARB get involved. Criminy, ....and now, on the new rigs, you have to buy DEF and use urea to make it run cleaner. I wonder if you could drink pure distilled water and just pee in in the DEF reservoir to get the same results and save a few bucks!

All I can say is, I'm glad that I have a mid-tech 5.9 instead of all the hi-tech 6.7 crap. There are a whole lot less TSB's on my '07 5.9 than there are on the new trucks. I feel sorry for all of the people that buy a first and second model year of a totally new design, and get used as "Guinea Pigs" to work out all of the bugs that always seem to come with them.

That said, on Monday, I still have to get on the horn with the local Dodge dealership to get the inspection for the left-hand tie rod issue. My VIN is on the latest recall list. Phhhhhffffftttt!

Happy motoring to all!!!

Ford and chevy have issues too with the EPA stuff on the diesels. The 2007.5 thru 2009 were hard hit with soot unless driven on the highway or towed a lot. 2010-2011 got better, 2012 even better and 2013-2014 all but eliminated with soot build up.

Wow, glad only the 4x4 has a front end shimmy issue in my model year. Now I can tell my 2wd truck it doesn't have to shimmy after hitting pot holes anymore! $1200 in front end work and it's still there.

Nice to see so few TSBs on the 05s. I guess I can get my torn drip moulding replace for free.
