Snow? What snow?

Try this one instead.

Actually, I'm at a loss for a caption.

I got it and found a link to a second picture where they showed that they could remove the trunk lid and a 5th wheel hitch was in there Now I want one

I think this was GM's secret weapon to put them back on top. They were experimenting with it until they had to file for bankruptcy a couple years back. Somehow a prototype has made it into circulation! And a tow package was going to be optional.

You will see this type of set-up on all type of rigs all over "Alaska".

Never want to see this for real. We have a never ending quest to avoid that cold white stuff on the ground.

Hope those aren't China-made Marathon snow tracks!

I like the Track and Ski conversion for others, but prefer Flip-Flop conversion for my self.
It would appear that using a small pickup/suv with 4x4 and front tracks also would have been a better choice.

We may have snow, but at least we don't have any stink bugs.

Or scorpions, snakes, lizards, tarantulas, centipedes or palmetto bugs.

We visited Pioneer Village in Minden, Ne. several years ago- They had a complete floor in a large metal building that contained a collection of early snowmobiles- What really caught my eye was a Model A Ford 2 door with skis on front and tracks on the rear axle- THANX for another trip down memory lane- JMHO- Don
