We also experienced the "thrill" of the Richmond bypass. While chatting with a neighbor with a dually, he said that did not help calm things down; neither did my air bags. Really did feel like we were bull riding for those 8 seconds.
Another snow bird lost one of his bikes south of Winchester so that was probably the spot.

we should always keep in mind that our FW suspension does not haveany shock absorbers.... I have been thinking about adding them... i am sure that the rigs' stability will improve dramatically...

I have a TrailAir (air bag and shock absorber) on my 5th wheel hitch. It does make the fiver ride much smoother but that section of road still made my truck shake like heck!
