I like Mike's suggestion of having people attending the ralley bring this issue up with Keystone, so that we can get confirmation and a common understanding on why people are getting yellow stains, and what keystone will do about it. Another issue that seems to affect a lot of Monty owners is the poor quality of the Monty decals/graphics. Are there any owners that are going to the ralley that can champion these issues for the Montana Owners?

We took our 3150RL out for some touring this past week and I took a closer look at the yellowish stains on the ceiling. Even though Keystone Customer Service said the stains cannot be glue or putty and are due to condensation I feel they are wrong. I took a close look at the stain pattern and there are stain spots across the width of the ceiling. It appears that where ever they put a row of staples/nails to hold the ceiling up there is something yellow oozing out on several rows, plus in the center of the yellow spot is a dark spot like a pin hole ( I assume the spot is a staple). I have an appointment to take the Monty to a Keystone dealer on September 2nd, so I'm anxious to hear their opinion and how they plan to correct the problem. I guess by Keystone saying the spots are caused by condensation they could refute responsibility. Our Monty was purchased March 2010, so it is only 6 months old.

I'll provide an update later.

It's the same old thing. Not aware of problems with Mission tires. Decals peeling is isolated. What yellow stains? Oh yeah, that's because of condensation! Remember the old saying, "don't believe you're lying eyes"? That's now the Keystone line.

When you smoke in a Keystone you should move around the trailer. Stop exhaling on the same spot on the roof. Exhale on the walls and floors too. Maybe smoke light cigarettes. Camel non filters will turn them Keystones yellow on the outside too. I am glad I quit smoking. And you're holding your cell phone wrong (Iphone 4). Please. I am glad I am not the only one mistreated by them. I was starting to get a complex.

Keystone is blowing smoke. I have random yellow stains on my living room ceiling. I have been able to scrape some of the yellow off with my finger nail. It is a little powdery. I'm afraid to use anything very abrasive out of concern for rubbing through whatever material covers the panels. The yellow spots are on both sides of the strips that cover the ceiling panel joints. This is clearly an adhesive that has yellowed with age. My coach has never been 100% closed up and never is high humidity area without A/C running. OK -no A/C running when I'm on the road but both roof vents open. If anyone has found a good solution other than painting, I'd be interested in knowing what you did.

Our 2010 Montana has the yellow marks whatever they are. Tried different things that didn't work. Gave up. 2001 Montana didn't have the yellow marks. Seems more like glue to me.

Guess we are also lucky, four Montana units since 2002, never a ceiling stain.

We occasionally get the stains even though the vents are always open, more often after winter storage. I've found that Kilz primer and a tiny kids paint brush covers them with no problem.

Our 2013 Mountaineer gets stains also but they are not yellow. They are black and haven't found anything that will remove the stains. We have two A/C and the panels with the A/C has the stain. The stains run long ways and not across the roof. I thought condensation from A/C but the stains are not right under the duct work. I have an endoscope but haven't used it yet to look into ceiling. I'll do that next camping trip.

Wonder if the fact that we have never stored our Montana's has anything to do with no yellow stains.

We have never had ceiling stains on our two Montanas, we store our 2013 3725RL about 6 months each year in a farm shop. We don't run AC during storage, but keep plugged into elec and water with no issues.

We have the yellow stains on the ceiling, just ignore them. We also have some yellow spots on the white day-night shades. have been there for several years.
