Just wanted to add that people that are trying to remove the adhesive after removing the graphic's can use good old WD40. That works great and is a lot cheaper than Goo Gone. We have been using it for years for taking the adhesive off of vending machines that sit in the sun day after day. Just spray it on, let it sit a couple minutes and wipe off

Dave according to BGS they have been using Arlon since July/August of 09. They once again made rig signs for the MOC rally with our names, screen names and MOC#s and where we are from. I was lead to believe that these were also Arlon. Very nice signs. They did the same signs last year and a lot of us got 1/8 inch plex at Lowes or Menards and cut it to fit the signs (about 8x10) and hang them on the pin box at all the rallies we go to...

I sure wish Keystone would pro-actively address this issue on their website. This problem has been going on for a number of years. Ours was built in 04 but the problem started showing when it was 2 1/2 or 3 years old and has gotten progressively worse. Three year warranty is good but I don't expect that I should have to replace graphics on a $50k trailer in three years. If they have really fixed the problem, and are willing to stand behind their solution they should be willing to give an extended warranty on graphics including installation. If their corrective action is effective the warranty won't cost them anything because there won't be any premature failures. The only reason for not offering such an extended warranty would be if they are not confident in the fix and don't want to have to pay for future premature failures.

Trying to keep an open mind about Montana's, we attended a local dealer open house last week. We were looking at a 2011 3400 and DW noticed the wood veneer Montana and mountains decor in the middle of the couch/dinette slide was coming loose and curling at the edges. Montana just keeps shooting themselves in the foot.

Our 2007 had the nose decals replaced at 22 months. And now we're seeing some shrinkage and curling on the decal below the large bedroom window, the escape window.

Thanks for the website link to the graphics. I figure it will be worth the price when go to trade-in or sell our Monty.

Last weekend we looked at four different 2011 Montana floorplans. everyone had the mountain decor above the sofa coming lose. The 3580 has a the decor above the kitchen/entertainment slide...it was lose also....I first I said it was 3-d by design on the montains but then we saw the circle decal behind was lifting off also.

We left our Monty in Mission, TX all summer for 2 years, so I know what is causing the peeling. Plus we bought it in 2007 and the graphics were perfect. So wanting to keep it looking great we waxed the heck out of it in 2008 and then found out you weren't supposed to wax the decals. That and the 100+ degree heat is what curled our front decals. I plan to buy new from Burlington Graphics and reapply them using all of your hints for removal and surface preparation. I wish I would have planned this earlier in the year, I could have saved $50 shipping because I am about 50 miles from Racine, WI. They say it takes 6-8 weeks to get them. Oh well, I thought about it in the Spring, and again in the Summer - but didn't do it.

New at this, so hope my information gets to the correct forum.
I own a 2008 Montana 3465SA and my decals starting to peal last spring. Contacted BGS in June regarding the problem and received the decals last week. Not sure if these will be any better than the orignals. Decals warranty for 3 years but not labor. Going cost $500-$600 in labor to remove old and install new. Keystone needs to correct this problem. We love our Montana but knowing what I know now regarding the decals not sure if I would buy another one or recommend a Montana right now. Steve

Avery has been having a lot of problems on their vinyl lately. Arlon is good, as well as 3M. None of them are guaranteed for more than 7 years (Material only) and that is if laminated with their laminate and installed properly.

Thanks!

I have a 2008 Montana. Last year the front decals began delaminating and Montana was most helpful in providing a replacement set. I also noted various places on the sides that were beginning to come off. I provided photos and information to Montana and they are providing replacements. THREE CHEERS FOR THE COMPANY - THEY HAVE BEEN MOST HELPFUL. DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO BURLINGTON AS THEY WILL NOT REPLACE ANYTHING AFTER A YEAR.

Of course you will have to take care of the removalof the old ones and installaton of the new one. - quite a job. I got a pro to do the installation, but will do the rest myself. I bought a heat gun and that really helped in the removal process - much much better than a hair dryer.

Its been 9 months since I replaced mine on the cap and clear coated them. They look great and set in the sun all summer I have my fingers crossed. I am thinking of clearing the back cap over the winter it is getting dull. Its either that or trying to buff and wax it I may try that first.

I just went to Burlington Graphic's website and it says they have "Temporarily discontinued their replacement graphics program". Any ideas on where else I can get graphics from?

You are the second person today to inquire about who to contact other than Burlington. Go to this topic for the answer.

I contacted Keystone last fall abbout the peeling graphics on my 2009 RL 3605. They asked for pictures which I sent them. Soon afterwards I had a set of new graphics. Haven't attempted the replacement yet but hopefully will soon.

My front graphics have just barely started to peel a little. I have coated the front cap with Red Max Pro so in time we will see if that helps stop the peel. If not I may have a mess on my hands because I will have to strip the RMP to replace the graphics.

I called Keystone customer service two weeks ago to talk about my peeling decals on my 2008 3585s a .They told me to send pictures then they sent me an E-mail with a diagram of all the decals and asked me to point out which ones were bad. Today the new decals came in the mail!! Wow Keystone great service.

It all depends on where you live, we live in wash state and as everybody knows we only get about 4 months of hot sun a year if we are lucky! we just traded in our 2003 bigsky and the graphics still looked great, if you live in Arizona or Florida I don't care how good the graphics are you are going to have problems prematurely

Montana decals are generally poorly made and or applied! I see Montanas everywhere with peeling decals! Poor quality control and even worse customer service! Look elsewhere when considering a new 5er!
