Unslick slides

Hi, We're new here, and have a question about the slides on our 2003 3295RK.
We opened it up last weekend (weather was nice enough to warrant it), and the slides slid out pretty slow. They stalled 3 times going out. They eventually went out.
This has happened before, and are wondering if this is normal? It AC was plugged into our garage, which is 20 amps. We have two 12V batteries, in parallel.
Just wondering if others have issues with the slides, and if we need to be concerned before the start of the new season. We just took delivery of out 5er in October, so we are new at this.
Thanks for any input and suggestions!
