MOON Eclipse
I hope everone that can see the eclipse of the moon gets to as here in lower fl it is great as now the moon has turned red rasberry in color , its on yet in full for 5 min

what a beautiful sight. We watched here in western ny, had clear skies. My son took some pics from a tripod set up.

DW went out at 2130/2145/2200 and took photos... she was in her boots windbreaker and nightgown standing in 14 inches of snow in the back yard..she got some great photos.....so did I, she didnt notice my flash.....:}

perfect here in Central Florida. We had the Meade 4.5 inch Equatorial Reflecting telescope out and drew a big crowd and many oohhs and awhwss. Many of the small kids here had never seen such a sight and were fasinated by the craters on the moon.

Awesome tail photo. We are in Niland, Salton Sea area and had perfect clear skiesand great viewing. It sure was pretty. Wish I had a telescope for moments like those last night.

Thanks for the great shots of the eclipse, John. Two of my grandchildren were "camping" with me that night, and we had a wonderful view of it up here in Big Sky country. I can't wait to show them your photos. I later asked my 6-year-old granddaughter how she liked the eclipse, and she said, "Actually, Honey, I liked the first part best--the part when it just started clipping." Straight from the mouth of a prissy little 6-year-old! Carolyn
