How much is enough truck?

We are debating between the 3295RK and the 3685FL. Probably leaning toward the 3295 since swapping one of the sofa's for 2 chairs apparently isn't an option on the 3685, and gotta have a recliner!!!! I did a "build your own dodge" on the dodge website. Looking a a one ton dually, 5.9 Cummings Turbo Diesel. According to the info I printed, it has a GVW of only 11,500 lbs. That is almost the dry weight of either of these 5ers. Will this be truck enough?
Thank you in advance for your imput.
