How long is the 50 amp hook up cable that comes with the new Montanas and do they supply a 30 amp adapter with it? Thanks.

I believe the 50 amp cable is 30 ft long. No, the 30 amp adapter has to be purchased from your dealer (or CW, or...). However, most of the time you can get the dealer to throw in the 30 amp adapter as part of the deal.
Most of the 30 amp cables are 30 ft also. I happen to have a 15 ft extension for my 50 amp cable because there was one time when I couldn't quit reach the plug.

So did ours, however I'm not sure whether this was a Keystone or dealer thing. It was in a box with sewer setup, extra fuses, etc.
Happy trails......................

Our dealer gave us the 30 amp adapter along with a 15amp adapter and a fifteen ft water hose.

Our dealer did the same as Gary and Karen's dealer did. It is nice to have when you just need plan house power for lights to do things while parked at the house for getting ready or cleaning up after a trip.

When I traded my 30 amp plug in, it had a yellow rubber cover with a black plastic threaded portion that when hooking up to the rig, I would screw it in tightly with the black plastic locking ring.
My 50 amp cable didn't have the yellow rubber and black locking ring. Any one else ?

Those boxes of extras are a dealer thing. Some do, some do a little, some don't.
Our 50 amp cable doesn't have the ring but you insert the plug and twist to lock it into place. No ring needed. Ours is not yellow, either, but ours is an older model.

I just thought that the rain water would get in there and short something out.

Ours is the same as sreigle's. It is about 15 feet long and so far we hav not needed anything extra to reach the plug ins. We got a 50 to 30 adapter when we traded. We already had a 30' cord from our previous trailer but it is only rated @ 30amps. So if we get in a pickle where we need to reach farther than the 50amp will reach we will have to use the adapter and 30amp cord. Or find a dealer and purchace a 50amp extension cord. $$$

Never had a problem with water shorting out the plug on the rear of the trailer. Have the 50amp with twist lock and use a 30 amp extension if needed.
