Traded In The Montana

We did what we thought we’d never do, traded in the Montana. We took delivery last May on our 15th wedding anniversary and thought that would be a good omen. Unfortunately, after one season we found the floor plan didn’t fit our needs as we imagined it would.

The new coach is an Excel Limited 33RSE. The floor plan is what we were looking for when we purchased the Montana. The front living room in the Monty was what drew us to it. However, it was also part of the reason for trading it in.

This forum has been very informative. I found a lot of information that I didn’t know from reading the various posts.

Thank you so much for all the good information you’ve given.

I’ll still pop in and say hello from time to time if you don’t mind.

Bill

Bill and Pat,

Happy travels in you new EXcel. They are beautiful 5'rs. Happy to hear you have found what suits you best. Would love to hear you give us some updates. Especially comparing it to your Montana once you have used it. You know what you like best about the Excel, what you like better about your Montana.

Congratulations, Bill and Pat! The Excel is a beautifl rig and was on our short list, too. My aunt and uncle fulltimed for six years. Their last FW was an Excel Noble Esquire, which is the Limited in its prior incarnation. Very nice rig. Good luck, and enjoy it. You will be missed.

I'll let you all know how it goes after our first shake down trip. That should be in June. We are taking our son and his family so the camper should get a workout on it's maden voyage.
