Leak in Roof

I am having a small leak in the roof right up front. Appears to be where the front fiberglass cover meets the roof. What is the best product to seal that seam with ?

If it's not a warranty thing, I would (and just did a few weeks ago) use Dicor lap sealer (in a tube similar to caulk but is "self leveling") forced under the retaining cap (or whatever it's called) then I covered the entire width with Eternabond tape. The story is that you (we) will NEVER have to redo that seam again !!! The Dicor product is recommended by the EPDM roof manufacturer and is avalable at the local RV supply store. I did the entire length, both forward and aft and the screw channel with one tube. Eternabond is evidently the RVers prayers-answered/dream-come-true. It can be purchased from here as cheap as anyplace http://bestmaterials.com/detail.aspx?ID=11341 It's a great thing to have in your RV toolbox !!

I would check and see if any of the screws are broken or loose on the front cap. We have had that problem with ours. You could see a crack or small opening on the cap where it connects to the roof. If so I would contact your dealer. Keystone took care of our problem.

I had the same problem with my front cap seperating from the rubber roof. They used screws that were to small and they just pulled loose. If its not under warrenty,The suggestion from Vanman is right on the money. But first make sure the screws are still holding. If not replace with a litlle longer ones.Stainless steel would be the best to use(no rust)Then just do what Vanman did and you should be AOK.
