Does size really matter ( This is about Tires)

I am going to replace my Mission tires and gotta question. I have a 2007 Big Sky 340RLQ same floor plan as 3400. I see that alot have gone with the G rated load range tires but I am wonderning about people that have replaced with same size E rated tires and had good or bad luck keeping them together on this size trailer that I have. What I have read here tells Bridgestone and Goodyear and Goodrich seem to be good tires but what size are we talking about.
Thanks in advance

you need to look at the weight ratings on the tire compared to your trailer weight. you don't want to be on the edge weight wise. An E rated tire works well in a lot of situations, but you need to know capacities before anything else.

X2 on make sure you're not on the edge. If you're towing in the 100+ temps many places had last summer (we took one trip in Kansas at 113 degrees) you don't want to be just on the edge. That being said, Joyce and I swear that the rig tows better on the G614's. Could be just peace of mind talking, but there's a lot to be said for peace of mind.
