Morryde IS

I have a 3400RL (2006). I have been blessed, 15 years with no suspension breakdowns. I have replace shear spring, wet bolts and added the x factor over the years.

I am looking to purchase the IS and possibly disc brakes.

My question; The 3400RL has the kitchen gray water tank above the rear axle of the RV. What issues should I be aware with IS being installed related to the tank? Replacing if required, etc.....

Thanks

Is the the tank mounted between frame members? you might want to talk to MorRyde direct.

As stated, contact MorRyde, but I don’t believe you will have any issues. The IS mounts directly to the frame and is welded on. There is nothing for IS that will go above the bottom of the RV. The tires will be in the same location. The disk brake pump will go in the front compartment. We have liked IS/Disk Brakes so much we are having them put on our new 3230CK.

The issue we had with our 2955 was the Galley drain pipe went from the tank to the sewer discharge pipe and had to be re-routed. MORryde just routed it out the side as a second sewer outlet. I found a radiator hose that would route it over the IS cross frame and reconnected into the normal sewer discharge outlet.
Keep in mind ours was a 2010 model and the Galley line was exposed under the RV, if yours are all up in the belly you should had no issues.

That's basicly what I did, just using a section of radiator hose

Thanks all. I do have the drain from the gray tank that will need to be dealt with in some manner. I have decided to go forward and install the IS and disc brakes. The sad issue, Morryde has already filled their 2021 schedule! So I am on the cancellation list and with a schedule install for 5/2022.

We got our appointment a few days ahead of the National Rally. As soon as we knew we were ordering our new 3230CK, I contacted MorRyde. You won’t be sorry.

No sure where you are located but there is one dealer in southern Oregon that is authorized to install thte Moryde IS system. They may have more availability.

We are fortunate to be able to attend the national fall rally every year. We had the IS installed on both our Montana's at the Mor Ryde plant. We have been high end users averaging over 7 K miles a year. Well worth the price.

Morryde install

morRyde really needs to expand their authorized install network in the US. There's probably many more RVers that would like this system installed, the disc brakes an IS as myself included but cannot take the time or expense to travel so far to get it installed. Can't leave our jobs or family or for other reasons. Even planning something that far ahead to get an appointment would be a task for the working person.

We were in our 50’s when we joined the MOC. People came to rallies and stayed while I had to go back to work. I certainly remember what it was like.
