Battery

Hello all!! What a great day in Texas!! Hope you all are well! Question. I just found my inverter has been off. Could that be the reason my batteries are being depleted?

I think you are referring to your converter. That converts park 120vac to 12 plus to charge batteries for lights, etc. An inverter is to take battery voltage and turn it into 120vac. And yes, if off, then no battery charging.

Do you by chance mean your converter? If so, that will leave your battery in a discharge only condition.

Your "Inverter" turns battery 12v into 120v AC. Unless you installed one yourself, it won't have a charger and won't produce any 12v power. Your converter is on a breaker in your Distribution Panel and likely labeled "converter". If you don't have shore power or a generator, it won't charge.
