charging tow vehical when in storage?

so I have always had a plug at the house and kept 5th plugged in never any issues.
recently moved now I have to store the rig. the spot has power and is long enough to store truck also. My question will the power run through the rigs battery and keep Truck charged? or should I hook up a battery tender for the truck.
I don't have an inverter in the rig just the converter.

TIA

If you have power, connect to the trailer with the shore cable and your smart converter will maintain the house batteries. For the truck, you might check with an auto parts store for a smart battery maintainer. I don’t think trying to make the truck maintain the trailer battery or the trailer trying to maintain the truck battery is a good idea, even if it would work.

My approach is to never store the rig long enough to worry about the batteries going dead.

I dont think the rig will charge the truck. For my f350 the engine has to be on to turn on the relay that allows the alternator to charge the rigs batteries when towing.
Maybe a small solar battery charger?
Plugs into your cigarette lighter.

I installed a 30 watt solar panel and solar Battery Tender on my F250. Never have to worry about the batteries. Just check the water every once in a while.
