Reset for water heater?

We have a new 2018 3820FK with electric/propane water heater. Electric part went out within 10 days of purchase. We have been running it on propane and it's been working fine. Ran out of propane this morning. Filled tanks but now have no hot water. Is there a reset button or something we have to do to get hot water again?

Check to make sure both the inside switch for electric and the black switch below the water heater outside are turned on. If both switches are on then you need to make sure the element isn't burned out etc.

It takes a while to get propane to the water heater if you really did run it dry. There is no reset button per se. Just tun off the rocker switch inside at the panel and then turn it on again. You may have to do this a couple of times before it finally lights.

As for the electric side, it is pretty simple. There is a diagnosis manual here in the Files section.

Electric quit working after 10 days but it was still working with propane.

Must have run it dry. Flipping the switch did the trick. Thank You
