Posting your floorplan and year model would help get better response. Add that info to your signature and it will always show.

Try it yourself. It will save on installation costs and the frustration of dealing with poor workmanship of some knuckle dragging kid. Besides, you will gain the working knowledge of the system. You could always pay for the installation later if you found it beyond your ability.

Vent install. Easy. You will need a four inch hole saw. From back of combo unit measure up from floor and left to right from vent hole. I installed a drain pan, up to you. Go from back of combo unit shortest straight route. Center mark. Using your hole saw, draw a circle around the hole saw. I did not have a stud finder. Using a small bit, from the inside, drilled a hole at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and then close to auger bit to ensure no studs. Not all the way just thru the inner wall and insulation. Started on the inside with the hole saw, wife stood outside and yelled stop when auger bit went thru. Then went outside, used masking tape around the cut area and finished the cut outside in. No sweat! Vent decal inside was off. Start inside, not outside.

I bought a vent kit, and a drain pan in case there was ever a leak for my WD.
The vent just requires a hole saw of the proper size and a drill.
It took about 10-15 minutes to drill, apply sealant to the vent, screw it into place, and attach the outside cover.
I drilled though from the inside until the pilot bit passed through the fiberglass, then used that as a pilot hole to drill in from the outside. Not sure if I needed to drill from the outside, but I did that in hopes it would not mess out the outside fiberglass.
The drain pan (most people probably don't have one) screwed down with 4 screws, and I routed the drain tube through the floor and to where it would dump out through the hose opening in the water center.
Then it's just hook up the hoses, vent, and slide it in place.

BTW, I located the place to drill the hole by tapping on the wall. There was no vent sticker on my RV.

The easy way to check for studs is to find where your vent will go through the wall, drill a small hole in the center. Take a clothes hanger cut a 8" piece of of the wire then bend the wirw at 90 degrees with 4" at one end. Put the wire in the center hole and spin the wire around in the hole and if the wire doesent hit anything your good to cut the hole.

Also, if you put a pan under the washer/dryer (ours goes in the closet) pour a little water on the pan and put the back feet on the pan and use furniture moving pads on the front feet maks maneuvering the heavy combo easier.

My pan is plastic and had the front side open.
It lets you slide the W/D in, then you apply a seal across the front, and screw down a plastic piece across the front to complete the pan.

Same here and I still had to slide it in and move it just a little to avoid from smashing the vent pipe, and keeping the hoses away from the washer/dryer so they don't rubbing the finish off. Not a lot of wiggle room because we left the shelving above the unit.
