Selling our Montanna

We have decided to sell our trailer due to health issues. I have found a buyer and he wants to verify that all systems are functional, especially the air conditioners. I keep the trailer in a storage lot where there is not any electrical but I have a small Honda generator. According to information I have found, the 15,000 BTU a/c could surge to 3500 or 30 amps upon trying to start. Have any of you tried to start a 15,000 BTU a/c on a Honda 2000 or on 120 volt house current? Any suggestions? I was thinking of taking it to our nearest dealer but I am sure they are very busy this time of year.

If you are getting the price you want, pay for a night's stay at a nearby park and demo everything to him. You don't have to spend the night.

Yes, I thought of that. Was just wondering what others have done. Than you for your response.

I have used my Honda 2000 to run my A/C, being careful not to run the microwave or any other high amp items.
