Running down the road with the AC cover on?

Has anyone done any road time with the AC cover on? Any problems with it staying on or causing damage? It ties in the rear so shouldn't balloon from movement.

When we reach Kansas City in early November I'm planning to put the cover on the AC unit. When we leave there after Christmas I'd like to leave the cover on until we reach warmer weather, since I have to take the bikes off the rack to get on the roof.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this?

Thanks.
