Antenna Issue

I have an antenna question on the wiring. I am not getting as many channels on my living room tv as on the bedroom tv. I ran a long cable from the booster to the tv and got all of the channels as the bedroom. So, I know the antenna, booster and tv are all working properly. So, there is a bad connection between the booster and the living room. I also have the same issue on the outside tv. I have checked the connections coming into the slide and they are solid. I am wondering if there is a splitter somewhere that splits the signal from the booster to the outside and living room tv’s. If so, where is it located? I have a 2015 3160, so it is probably wired similar to other models in the same year. Hoping I don’t need to drop the belly, but it may lead there. Thanks in advance.

Same trailer, same problem. Ours had a splitter behind the fireplace that was bad. Brand new and didn't work.

Same issue on our SOB, solved by purchasing a Winegard in-line amp and install on the output of the booster to the Living Room & Outside TVs, think it was approx 20 bucks.

That makes sense. There are three cables that come to the slide room. One is outside satellite, one is outside satellite and the other is the antenna. I will pull the fireplace tomorrow. Thanks.

On our 2017 there were two splitters in the ceiling behind the convienence center.

The problem is if the splitter is splitting the signal to the Living Room and Outside TVs, if you remove it, one or the other won't get any signal. That's the reason I went with an in-line amp to over come the splitter loss and keep signal to both locations.

Our splitter was dead as door nails. Replaced it with a good quality part and voila. Same with the satellite wiring. However, that whole line is a waste and if you want satellite, that will be a different discussion.

Satellite is great on all 3 TV’s. However, we are in Florida and S&B is in Colorado and I can’t get the CBS or Fox channels. And, my understanding is DirecTV will no longer switch your local channels. Will pull the fireplace tomorrow. I will also look at an inline booster.

Lucky you if the satellite works as designed. That's the first for this model I've heard of. Especially for directv since they are coax sensitive. Haven't used ours for a while but if they won't reset us for local channels that's not good. Hopefully the over the air antenna will pick up the locals. No Fox basically means no news and that just ain't right.

We had the Winegard Travlr installed when we bought it. It has worked perfect except for one glitch recently. Our dealer, Leach Camper in Council Bluffs is excellent. I now know how everything is routed for both systems (antenna and satellite). The missing piece was the splitter. Will get the fireplace out tomorrow.

I bought an inline booster at ace hardware. Also saw them at home depot.

I checked all connections, put in a new splitter and added a powered booster. I picked up some channels, but not as many as in the bedroom. So, since we have good internet here, I invested in a FireStick and will pay the money to get my channels. Thanks for the suggestions.
