1of 4 slides won’t open

Just purchased a 2022 High Country. A 3 day stay and all was ok. Got it home and leveled it, 3 slides opened with no problems but the kitchen slide won’t open. Tele eked it, checked fuse and breaker box -all are ok.
Dealer is 4 hours away. There is ratcheting sound when going in and out. Please help

You're question is unclear. I understand the slide won't extend and that the power to it is good. You say that it make a gear noise. Are you saying that you hear the motor turning? If so it's a mechanical issue.

It doesn’t move (electric slides) makes a sound like the gears aren’t syncing together. We tried opening on solar/ battery and generator power. Still get the same ratching sound of an impact wrench. Where is the motor and what does it look like?

We had the same issue with our kitchen slide. 2019 MH 331RL. Motor was shot, had to hire RV tech to replace it during one of our long vacations. RV tech guy said we were lucky to have the motor last as long as it did. Usually needs replacement ever 2 years.

Thank you to those who have responded. It warmed up to 55 and the slide worked. Who knows why it decided to start working!

Check batteries , fluid in the slide reservoir.

Thanks it’s electric not hydraulic. Once the weather warmed up it worked
