Ceiling Paddle Fan Controller in Living Room

We are have trouble getting the living room paddle fan to reverse. Since we purchased our 2023 Montana used, we did not get any instructions on the operation of the little wall mounted controller.
The controller has 12 volts dc coming into it, but the output is three wires and when I measured the voltage, it appears I am getting 3 phase AC from this little controller. On high speed I get about 9 volts AC between the legs and no DC voltage. On low speed I get about 4 volts AC between the legs. Am I dreaming... is this little controller actually a miniature inverter for the ceiling fan.

Look on the fan itself and see if there is a directional switch.

It appears that the fans in the 2023 year were all 12 volts DC, so the different voltages at DC could be different depending on the speed setting. This is the link to the Trekwood page that shows the fans for 2023.
