Heads up if you own a 16000# husky hitch be sure to pull the yoke pin and lube,it has a hard pin that mates to a cast iron hole in the yoke, all so check for broken welds, look for rust along the side of welds, both parts of my hitch had broken welds Valley replaced at no charge, this is not a veary safe, be safe and check

Thanks Bob. We have that hitch and I pull that pin several times a year to take the hitch out of the truck, but have never thought to look for weld cracks. I will look before our next trip.

Don I dont have pics but look in the pin slot there is a round bolt sleeve in center to back of slot the weld was broke allowing jaws to cock ,jaws were worn with metal shavings ,the housing that bolts to rails, cracked in side right corner,if you want send email with phone # and I will call you
