Hi,

I only installed a new tank monitor system, Garnet SeeLevel II 709-4 System.
Their sensors are glued to the outside which prevent them from clocking up.
As long as now wall build up you are supposed to get good and pretty accurate readings.

I’ve added the island counter extension as well, except used Lowe’s glued pine wood (used to make desk tops, etc) and bought brackets from Amazon.. total cost less than $50. Added motion activated lights under sink and in pantry. I like what some have done to their head buster door. The first time I raised up and hit it, I was partially knocked out, even with a hat on I cut the top of my head. My wife has hit her head, she wanted to take the door off. To those who have changed to Sailun tires, are you satisfied? What air pressure do you run?

So far quite happy with the Sailuns. I run mine at 105-107 lbs.

Hey Roger, I ran the stock tires for about 10k miles and sweat out every mile. i cant tell you how much more i enjoy our trips from the security of putting the Saliuns on. Great tire and wears like iron. i run the recommended 110 lbs. of air to keep tire from heating up. Wife has hung a red ribbon off the handle of the killer door, it hangs down about 2 feet and makes it less likely not to see.

Great minds think alike. I put bright yellow tape to the inside of door, which didn’t help. I then added about 2 feet of sparkle tape which does help. I’m considering other options, but for now, the tape works.

This may not be the place to post this, but until I get better with this forum, here goes. I have a 2018 305RL and I’m dealing with an electrical issue. The circuit that the overhead fan, bedroom, kitchen island, bathroom and coffee bar receptacles are on, the power goes out. It’s only happened today and one other time... 14 months ago. It doesn’t trip the 15 amp breaker. Power comes back on after a period of time, minutes or hours. I replaced the breaker the first time it happened, not sure it helped because problem is back.
Any suggestions for a fix, thanks

Sounds like you have a bad connection. I’d check the fuse box first. Make sure after you turn all the power off to the box that all the cars connections are tight then check every thing that goes out.

Everything in the box is tight. What do you mean “cars connections and everything that goes out”?

I really doubt the fan is one any shared circuit, it has a dedicated one (before the change to 12V), The kitchen and bath should be on a GFCI circuit. And the bedroom typically has it's own circuit.

If a 120V CB trips, it has to be manually reset. The odds that a minimum of three separate CB's tripping and resetting are infinitesimal.

This sounds more like a heat build up in the feed/wire to the CB box. When hot it opens the circuit and once it cools back down, it closes and lets the current flow again. I wold start with pulling out the CB panel and tightening each and every connection (including the 50 Amp input feeds), Be sure to turn if the shore power before starting)

Hi,

on our 305 the MaxAir Fan and the cabinets at the wall where the pantry is are on the same circuit.
when you switch on the fan the lights on the cabinets are dimming shortly but are back to full once the fan hits its running rpm.
But they are not totally out and defiantly not for couple of minutes.

I guess you need to measure that wiring or better let your dealer have a look at it.

Mike

Thanks for your replies, I plan on checking some things today. Just last night my awning lights stopped working, but the other exterior lights work. It looks like they are on the same fuse, of course the fuse is OK. Electrical issues whether on a car or camper are the worst problems to have IMO.

I have enjoyed looking at the spring door closer for the door on the control panel. My DW has warned me several time if I don’t remember to close it so she does not hit here head, she will become a widow and no one will ever find the body! ;<)

Some time back, someone had posted pictures of a mod for the control panel door where he mounted the door on slides so it slid sideways like a bar door and closed by itself (gravity).

Anyone remember this post? I would really like to do this. TIA. Merry Christmas All!

This is what I did to ours. Very simple but it works to pull the door closed.

We bought a insulation cushion (for lack of a better word) for the skylight in the shower, thought it might help on a cold, or hot day. Question... does anyone else use one, if so how do you keep it in place?

My electrical problem on 12/21/20 was caused by my shore power cable not plugged in my camper properly. The receptacle on back of camper installed wrong needs to be rotated several degrees. Cable works itself loose.

Mine came that way as well. It's pretty simple to pull the receptacle out of the trailer and rotate the inner parts the way they should be.

I need to spend more time learning how to use this forum. Those that own a 2018 305RL, would you post a pic of your connection with power cable. Thanks
