We are official

We took delivery today of a 2010 Hickory edition 3400RL, Hi Gloss exterior, 2 AC's, Mor Ryde hitch pin, Alum Wheels, Fantastic fan, 30" combo microwave/convection,12 cubic ft refrig. Thanks to all the fine folks on this site that helped us select the options. We are going to replace the chairs with our Lazy Boys, and I have my own office chair for the desk since I need to work on the road. The PDI lasted about 4.5 hours and I only found one problem which they fixed on the spot. Now we will spend the next few days loading this unit. We are going full time so we will see what is left that we thought we would need from our house. The surplus will either be sold, donated or placed with our other furniture in storage. Current plan is Cottonwood, AZ for a week, then Heber, AZ for another week. During this test period we will plan our first real outing. We hope to make the rally at the factory in Sept.

Alan, Kathy and two dogs Sadie & Bailey

Congratulations. We loved our 3400 and we are sure that you will enjoy yours a well. The Hickory Edition was too much temptation for us and we succumbed this spring as well. Good luck with your new unit. See you in Goshen.

Excellent! Congrats on the new rig!

We were just in Cottonwood in March! The weather was great and there were a lot of side trips to enjoy - Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, Local winetasting, and even the Grand Canyon.

May all your adventures be fun and memorable.

Oh please take heed of our experience.... we wen rv'ing feb /2004 and put our stuff in storage thinking to buy another house when we got back.still in storage and what hasn't been ruined by mice isnt worth the storage we've paid...and we still havent "got back" to buy a house yet.. no do we expect to as long as we're able. If we were doing itagain, we'd sell it all at auction and get rid of the excess bagage...Thays our advice and probably worth exactly what was paid for it LOL happy trails gary and verna

Good advice vgforbes. We are on our 5th year of fulltiming in a Montana. We are so happy that we got rid of everything. We do not plan to stop until we need a nursing home and couldn't take any of the stuff there anyway. Once you make the Montana your home, you don't want anything else except a newer Montana.

Parting with the house & going full time is a big step. Best of luck & enjoyment. Hope sometime we can meet up.
