Wife is Retiring Friday
This Friday the wife is retiring, I retired 4 weeks ago. What was interesting is that we met several couple this weekend that also were retiring within a few days or couple of weeks. Are the Baby Bloomers begining to attack?
Friday we are officially Long timers! Glacier National Park here we come! (on our own schedule, not counting vacation days, or PTO, finally!)

Bob and Nancy, enjoy the time of the moment, and we hope that moment last a long time. We have been retired for 5 years and wish we could have done it sooner.
Yes, it's our time, the baby boomers RULE!!!!!

Welcome to the ranks of the retired. You will enjoy Glacier. It is beautiful. Just remember, slow down, you don't have to rush to anywhere. The "vacation" will not end in two weeks. Happy RVing.......

Congratulations to both of you. Stiles said it right when advising "slow down!" Now you have time to enjoy the best part of lift - the journey, and not have to hurry any more to see the destination and hurry home!

Now you can wonder with the rest of us. "How did we ever find time to work?"

Congrats and all the best in health and happiness. We are just around the corner from retirement and I am one those "Boomers" that signed a retention package to stay with my Employer for an extra two years ( that comes up Oct. 1, 2009) as they just could not find someone to take my place.
We will be spending a lot of time travelling soon after that retirement day comes. Ellis

And one day my wife asked me, "What are you going to do today?"
I replied, "Nothing."
She said, "You did that yesterday!"
I said, "I know, but I haven't finished yet."
Congratulations.

Congratulations on your new life without work. The other day my wife asked me what was I doing today. My reply was short and simple,"I am doing it".
