Wish they'd dump the Electorial College and just go with the voters numbers.

We both voted early this year, as a result of the power outages due to Sandy. Two weeks of early voting makes it kind of hard to have an excuse not to vote.

Heading to the polls tomarrow to express my opinion and display my rights to choose who I want to represent me both in Washington, DC, the State Unicameral, City Council and all other points of contention. Nothing better than the US and your choices!

Our home county is the only county in the United States that still drafts workers to work the elections. I happen to have been one of the lucky ones in the draw this year. We have to work four elections before our draft term is fulfilled and I've got two under my belt and two to go yet. Worked last Friday setting up presinct voting boxes and opening and filing absentee ballots for eight hours. The absentee ballots have been separated from the voting envelopes for over two weeks now and won't be put into the counting machines until the regular ballots are returned to the election office and counted.

Voted two weeks ago. Voting isn't a right as much as it is an obligation. Those who don't vote have absolutely NO right to complain if they have a gripe.

We both voted October 2nd in Ohio. We the people decide our representation by a free and open election a right few other countries enjoy.

Voted absentee last week. Too bad it didn't stop all the election rhetoric and ads on my TV watching and the political mail and most recently all the email junk, too! AGHHH!

Voted this morning. LONG lines at 10:30. Heard older folks comments that the turnout looked larger than it's been in 30 years. The man in front of me said he had come at 7:05 this morning (to avoid the rush) and the lines went all the way around the building, so he went to work and came back later... to not-much shorter lines!

We voted today. Didn't have early voting that I'm aware of. Will probably watch the results this evening. Imagine it will be a close race.

Just got home from voting, not any line at all. Folks working the vote said over 300 people there when they opened the door at 6am.
