How Big is This Unit Anyway

Boy, started the annual hand wax job on the ol' 3400RL and I swear it has grown since the last time I waxed it. That little wax rag going down the side makes it look the length of the Holland Tunnel and twice as wide.

I sure wish I could increase the inside space as easy as the wax job makes it grown outside. Could buy a small tag-a-long and in a few years it would be a Big Sky.

Well, back to waxing, it really needs it.

I think when you are waxing the unit the actual measuresment are 85 feet long 45 feet high and 30 feet wide across the front and rear.

Just did ours last week...took a day and a half! Agree, the inside dimensions seem to be a lot smaller than the outside. Must be some physics thing???

Outside seems smaller on ours. Hired the guy in AZ. last Winter. Again this year too.

I do it once a year so that I can see every detail and or flaw on the body. Catch up on all the little things I would normally ignore when doing this. Keeps me up on the apperance of the rig, plus I'm cheap.

Now that is probably an understatement.

I calculate approximately 1200 Square feet of surface area. Keep up the practice. If you ever do get a house the floors will be calling Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim!

Get it done in Mexico. $1.50 per foot for hand wash and hand wax. $8.00 more for the roof. Can't beat it and always looks great. If your ever in Rocky Point stay at Playa Bonita and get it done.

Sorry, Mark, but I don't want to take a chance on a stray hand grenade or a stray round from a machine gun just to get a cheaper wax job; just my phobia, I guess.

I use Protect All. Very easy to put on and take off, much faster than normal wax or polish. Granted it's not as long lasting as the others, but since we are not full timers and the RV is covered when parked, it's a much easier way to go.
