PMing
Has anyone tried PMing someone lately?? When I do I'm taken back to the ALL FORUMS screen.
Also whenever I post a new topic or reply to a topic I have to reinput my user and password again.
I've only noticed this in the past few weeks. Has something changed???

Chester, I just pm'ed you as a test. It did not kick me out so I'd have to login again but it did take me to the page that wants me to click to go back to Private Messages. That link took me to my PM inbox. Bottom line was I lost the thread but not the login. Since I thought something might happen, before I pm'ed you I copied the url of the thread so was able to paste it in the address box and get back to the thread. I would think it should get you back there automatically but it doesn't.

Chester,
Just got word from ADMIN that your problem may related to your internet security. Nortons Internet Security has caused some problems with forumco's software.
So what I want you to do try shutting down temporarily some of the Nortons software one at a time. Firewall, virus protection, Antispam, etc. Once you find which one is causing the problem then you will have to shut down the inteferring software when sending PM's.
I think this has happened before.
Another thing Chester make sure that you always accept forumco's cookies. Do the following:
1. Hit the logoff button and make sure you are logged off.
2. Go to any other site.
3. Go to Tools...Internet Options...and click on the privacy tab.
4. Click on the edit key in the lower right.
5. In the address window and type forumco.com
6. Click on "ALLOW"(Make sure forumco.com is now in the lower window)
7. Click on OK
8. Click on "APPLY"
9. Click on OK
5. Go to the forum.
6. Logon
7. Everything should be ok now after a successful login.
Feel free to send me a test PM message if you want to.
Please post back as soon as possible and let me know if this helped.

Thanks for the help everyone.
RVBUDDY you pointed me in the right direction. When I went into Privacy I set my privacy to low from medium. This allows me to send PMs, reply without logging in and even see PMs that had been sent to me. Without doing this I couldn't see the PM Steve sent me.
Thanks again.....crisis solved.

Chester,
If you set up per my instructions to always allow forumco.com cookies you will be able to return your privacy to medium. Also this will prevent future problems.
