Oregon Tunnel Clearance

Anyone been through the tunnel on Hwy. 101 near Florence, OR. recently? I have been through there many times with my TT, but recall it as having low clearances on the sides of the tunnel. I am just under 14' at my front AC, not sure what my height is at the outer edges.

Coming from Gold Beach to Depoe Bay. It would be a long trip to go around it.

We went from Gold Beach to Newport Beach Oregon with no problem with the rig. We have a 3900FB and have traveled from Washington down 101 to Gold Beach without any problems with the bridges.

We were through that tunnel this summer and we are 13'5". I knew in advance it was there but figured it would be okay if I watched for traffic and maybe hugged the centerline a little.

We came up to it and were stopped in traffic due to construction at the north end of it. Problem was their lane closure set up would put me more against one side as I exited the north end.

I knew it would be close but with no place to go and cars behind me.....oh well. I stayed as close to the middle as I could and at the end when I was forced over I was okay.

Talked to a local truck driver who told me that he hauled 13'6" trailers through there all the time and he just kept his left wheels on the center line. I didn't ask him how that worked when another 13'6" high load was coming at you.
