Do Over

Second night in our "NEW 340bh" We have no inside plugs, the furnace will not come on, can't watch TV,and the fridge will only work on propane. I could not imagine being happier after dropping this much much money on a new RV only to spend hours on the phone with dealer only to hear that we should bring it in next week.

I assume you have verified that the breaker at the pedestal is on and that you do have power coming into the rig?

If, as Bingo says, you have power from the pedestal, see if you can burrow a shore cable and make sure your cable connections are good. After that I'd look at the converter since your furnace should be all 12v.

If not sure of your servicing pedestal, try hooking up to an adjacent pedestal if you can reach. And Dick is on the money, if your frig is working, so should the furnace. If everything worked the first night (you indicated second night), might have experienced a power surge with resulting damage either at the pedestal or your rig if you don't use a Progressive like device.

Look in the panel by the steps up to the front, any blinking lights under the fuses indicates a blown fuse. Our furnace blew a fuse as soon as it got home. Not sure why but has been fine since. Also there is a fuse on your inverter that could be blown.

We are home and no one had to die. The poll was good even converted to 30 AMP. I am much less angry but still looking forward to finding out what is wrong tomorrow. Where is the inverter?

Ours is built in as part of the fuse/circuit breaker panel

Back from the dealer, our inverter is built into breaker as well and it was the common wire (white one)? They did not have it tight so if you walk just right they would work. They kept it over night as they can not figure out the leveling system. Four men working 4 hours and they could not come up with a solution. In for bad weather tonight and we store indoors when not in use, hopefully no hail. Hoped to pull out for the weekend tomorrow and they were going to stay late tonight so it would be ready by noon.
