Montana Rear Light Trims Getting Rusty
I just noticed that the black rings around the rear lights on my
2013 Montana are getting rusty. Does anyone know where I can purchase
new ones. I can't believe that they would rust after only 3 years.
Has anyone else had this problem??
I always keep them waxed and clean. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you can find them at any place that sells utility trailer parts. Town and Country RV sent me one that was a standard utility trailer part. The good part is it's all plastic.

I was doing some roof maintenance near the front cap yesterday and noticed that the top of the scare light on the passenger side was starting to rust. During the PDI when we picked it up, I had them replace the other scare light for the same reason.

Lynnwood, got four new led sealed units from etrailer for my monte, which rusted out in two years. Got four because I ditched the feeble backup lights since no dot requirement. Also ditched the rusted scare lights with s2000 lights. John

Or ... a piece of scotchbrite ... a bit of masking tape ... a can of spray paint ... good for another few years.

Yeah, sandpaper and paint got me another year. New scare lights are nicer as they point most of the light down closer to the rv and not just out at the neighbors when I do turn them on for a minute or so. John

I replaced my tail, stop, turn 4" round lights wit LED lights from M4products.com. They fit great and I double secured them with the existing screws and holes. I added John Deere tractor lamps by fitting them to my rear hitch points on the trailer. Now when I back up the who,e world knows it and u can really see acknowledged there.
