Nuvi 680/780

Looking to purchase one of the above and I have a question. On the 680 under vehicle you can select truck and in the 780 you can not. Is the truck feature good to have or not? If you select fastest route will it do the same thing?

I have the 680 - the vehicle is just a truck "icon". You have your choice of quite a few, including the "Black Pearl" from Pirates of the Carribean. The 680 has a known issue with the "weather" icon popping up. I have been unable to get Garmin to give me a date for the fix. I am not sure if the 780 has the same issue. I think either one are going to be good units. I'm just a little irritated with Garmin because of the problem with that stupid icon popping up. I personally like the Bluetooth and will really like the MP3 through the stereo on the new 3500.
