For some objective info on GPS units, including the Garmin 360, check out this website. http://gpsinformation.net/
Sounds like you may have a bargain if the unit is not "hot!" Garmin does track their units to protect owners who may have units stolen. If you do get it, be sure to register your unit.

I have the old Nuvi 350, you'll love this little traveling companion.
Mine is tucked up right above my mirror and takes no space at all.
I don't know how I ever got along without mine and that is a great price from Coscto.

Let us know how you like the 650 from COSTCO,
We got the 340C a few months back and it was wonderful when we went on vacation, Less frustration for me and the wife, I did notice that there updates on new streets and some locations have not been added to there mapping program, and the announcer will send you off in a area you dont belong, or want to be. "example" In Stockton, CA Flying Flag RV Park has been in operation for about a year or better, and it is not in there up dates. I called Garmen and the person I talked to said that the company that does the mapping for Garmen are the ones that give all the information to them and then it goes out from there. there is another for a FYI error is Canyon RV Park, Anaheim, CA. with all the freeway construction for the 241 toll road on ramp and new streets in that remodel area the Garmen will direct you and your trailer on to the toll road and if you do not have the transponder to give you clearance to use the toll road there is a possability that a ticket will be issued if you get cought. It's not a fool proof director yet so you must watch your P & Q's with Mr. Garmen.

Don, the maps are from NavTec, the largest provider of these maps in the U.S. Unfortunately, the maps run a couple of years or more behind the construction industry. This seems to be true of the GPS units, Streets and Trips, Street Atlas, MapQuest, and every other one I've looked at. Just a fact of life. Unfortunately.

Just bought a Garmin 340 @ Circuit City a month ago for $249. It works great, but I've noticed that it needs some updates that are not yet available. Kerry
