Beeping propane regulator?
Hi,
Our 2018 Montana 3950BR is in storage out of state. The storage placed called me and said something "in this picture or behind this wall" is beeping.
We have solar on it, so I guess it's going to beep for awhile.
Anyway, I'm thinking it's a propane low voltage warning? Or one of the tanks are empty? I'm not sure, any ideas? Never had it beep on me while I was with her.
Thank you

I don't see any possible way the LP regulator would beep as it has NO POWER of any type going to it. Could be something in the front compartment which is behind the wall the regulator is mounted to.

Thanks, yeah I'm a little stumped about what could be the source of the noise. Your idea of the front compartment is a good one....batteries, hydraulics, trying to think of what else could beep in there..

Interesting problem. The Lippert panel is nearby and it beeps in something didn't work right (for example a jack times out, etc). That would mean somebody was operating the Level Up. Possibly it beeps if there is low voltage situation.
The other beeper is the propane sensor. If the 12V is low or it has reached end of life that triggers its alarm.
I have no idea, I am just spit balling here.

Another possibility, and likely located near the propane tanks, is the CO/Smoke detector on the wall of the bedroom. It's internal battery could be dying or it is at "End of Life"

How about the smoke detector battery needing replacement?

I vote for the smoke detector battery.

The source of beeping noises can be hard to determine. Especially if you can't access the area from which they APPEAR to be coming from. I know sometimes if I hear a beep I have to stop and listen to tell if it is the smoke detector in the living area or the CO detector in the bedroom even when inside and near both. Probably not anything to be particularly concerned about until you have a convenient time to go see for yourself.
The only concern might be if it is the Lippert panel as Carl mentioned that something in relation to it might be malfunctioning. Then you would not want to go there planning to hook up and go and find out something is not working right.

Thank intrepid explorers! I'm going to go with something small like a smoke detector
I'll update you all next Friday when I arrive into San Diego.

From Lippert Level up:
ERROR DISPLAY IN LCD
1. If an error occurs before or during operation, the error will be displayed in the LCD and a
“buzzer “ will sound
2. The errors that will be displayed are.
a. “EXCESS ANGLE” > relocate the unit.
b. “BAD CALIBRATION” > bad zero point.
c. “FEATURE DISABLE”
d. “LOW VOLTAGE”
e. “OUT OF STROKE” > relocate the unit.
f. “EXTERNAL SENSOR” > bad connection to rear remote sensor.
g. “JACK TIME OUT” > system could not level in expected time, check for obstructions, leaks,
h. “AUTO LEVEL FAILURE” > retry.
i. “”> rear stabilizers ran too long … bad motor or connections.
j. “NOT CONFIGURED” > unit was not zeroed properly.
k. To clear error, push “ENTER” > if error remains, it will appear again.

Got the beep due to low voltage. Chased the noise for 2 days.

I have had my regulator make sort of a beeping sound, don't know why, but it has. I have switched to the other side is why I know its the regulator, I run on just one side at a time .

Carbon Monoxide or smoke detector are my thoughts. Both run on 9V batteries and when they start to die, the device will beep.

I've had errors on my hydraulic leveling system result in the keypad beeping. Also had beeps come from failed CO detectors, failed LP leak detectors and smoke detectors.

Could be any of the things mentioned. I doubt if your monitor is out of date. If you have solar, is unit parked outside to be able to keep batteries chato?
We had a Tiffin Bus that the propane alarm would beep if left set closed up. Once we opened a vent or let out the slides the beeping would stop.

My solar panel controller beeps occasionally. Don’t know what it is trying to tell me but it is at 100%.

The leveling system beeps when voltage is low. Mine did it yesterday. Florida "eats" battery. Have you pulled the battery out of the unit? If not, I would suggest that. I had my installed and on a solar trickle charger but it still fell low enough to trigger the beep.
