Good Campground in Colo Springs Area
I'd like to get some recommendations for a good campground in the Colorado Springs area. Our main purpose for being in the area is attending a wedding at the Garden of the Gods.
Thanks in advance!

We have stayed at Cheyenne Mountain St. Park several times and I highly recommend it. It is a beautiful park with wonderful facilities. It also has beautiful views that we really enjoyed and it is near the city. It has 61 sites with hookups. Take a look at it in the book and get the specifics.

Second Cheyanne Mountain. Very nice state park, close to the Garden of the Gods, too. A little farther out (S.of Divide) is Mueller State Park, a truly beautiful setting with all the amenities. You can't go wrong with either one, IMO.
Enjoy your stay.

The only thing that chaps me about Colorado State Parks is the daily vehicle use fee of around $7. One can always justify the additional fee by the camping low fee's I suppose.
