I have no idea who makes them nor how to contact them. There's probably something in the manuals that came with the Montana but I can't remember for sure.
Mission tires have been in use on Montanas for a year, maybe two. So far on this forum I've heard of only one failure. Ours have only about 7k miles on them but are doing well so far. Far better than our Goodyear Marathons ever did for us. I'm going to keep the Missions until they wear out or prove to me they are unworthy. So far they're looking good.

Have an enjoyable and safe trip.
Bert, thanks for the clue on the 800 number. I would never have thought to look for a phone number on the tire.

After we took delivery of our 07 3400 Montana- I did some research on the Mission Tires (We had never heard of them) they are made by Nankang in Taiwan/China - I found them on Tireco.com website. I did talk to Keystone Customer service about them - I was told that they did have a problem (didnt say what) and it has been corrected. We have about 4k on ours and they look great. Hope that helps

I cursed the Missions when I first got my Montana 20 months ago but we are on our 3rd trip now with about 6000 miles on the Missions and they have performed great. They hold 80 PSI for months and I checked them against the spare and they show no wear.
It looks like I was wrong to verbally trash them, they seem just fine.

I was returning from Colorado over the weekend and I blew one of the Mission tires that came on my Mountaineer. It only had about 3,000 miles on it. The tread separated and it went fast. I got to the nearest tire shop and replaced all four tires. Two others were also separating and about to go. I will never use Mission tires again, but that's just me.

Speaking of tires, I've had no problems with ours but only have about 3000 on them. They do hold their pressure well. Does anyone use a hubodometer to monitor their milage on the trailer? Curious here.

Did you get new valve stems when you got the tires? I'm a little concerned about tires made in China, but so far so good. Ours have probably 2500 miles on them. I had Nankangs on the Sportmen TT, and shelled a gator back on one of them. I didn't monitor the tire pressure on them like I do now. Anytime we head out, I check pressure. No loss in pressure since replacing the valve stems.
My dealer did tell me that Keystone had tried powder coated rims at one time, and had problems with unbalanced rims causing blow outs. Don't know much about powder coating, but that sounds sort of far fetched to me. This was after I complained about our rims rusting in less than six months.

Are we the only ones that Montana came with Tacoma tires? Have had no problems with them but we did replace the valve stems with metal. One reason was our tire pressure monitor recommended metal stems.

Our 2005(built May/2004) Montana has the Tacoma tires. We have about 10k on them with no problems.

I believe Tacoma tires were made by Cooper for Parish. Don't think they are still available. Ours wore out because of mis-alignment. Replaced them recently with Yokohama Geolanders (just because they were readily available at a shop I could easily get into with the Monty in tow).
I have had no problem with them so far (3000 miles). Never had to add air since I got them. The stems are not metal, but some kind of plastic that the dealer assured me were rated for truck tires at high pressure. So far, so good.

I have a friend that has a 2006 monty(less than 2000 miles) and he blew one and it tore the side and under belly pretty good. Have not seen it but he was pretty upset. Will not come home before it gets fixed at the dealer. Does anyone know if Mission will stand for the repair bill for this? Thanks.

It is my understanding that mileage is not usually a significant factor in the "life" of trailer tires except as it relates roughly to time in use. The more signficant factor is time. The usual time to be concerned is 5 to 7 years. Tread wear is usually an indication of misalignment or over/under pressure. We had about 40,000 miles (and 48 months) on our Montana a year ago without any sign of tread wear. Since we had decided to keep our trailer for a while longer we went ahead and put on new tires, not because of wear but because of age. We replaced the tires with the same brand that came on the trailer: Maxxis.
I am no expert on tires, but these observations are based on reading and somewhat limited experience.
