underbelly cover
Just went under my 2955 yesterday as I was getting ready to de-winterize. I noticed that several of the screws holding the underbelly cover on were pulling thru or breaking the cover. I bought a bunch of 1 1/2 inch flat washers and put them under the screws. Hope this holds it all togather. Others may take a look and decide what needs to be done if anything.

I did the same as you, Fender washered the dickins out of all them TEK screws.

I had a similiar problem with our Cougar. When the steel bolt reacts with the aluminium, it seems to weaken the opening and the bolt is no longer holding anything. Had to use washers on it but perhaps the problem will continue only larger as the washers are also of steel??? I havn't checked our Montana yet, but will do so after your post....perhaps a different type of washer might be used???

To tell the truth, I find this kind of strange. I haven't recently crawled under ours but did so last December. There were no problems like that on ours at that time. It was then 2 1/2 years old. This almost sounds like the holes were originally drilled too large or the screws used were smaller than what should have been used. Do you know if the loose screws are the same size as those that are not loose? Just curious what's happening here.
