dometic a/c cycles 3 times?

we've had A/C issues the last couple weeks and have gotten through them.
first was living room thermostat showing E4 codes had to power down everything to clear that code. Then 2 weeks later (Saturday) living room Capacitor quit and was fried. have new capacitor on order. Now the bedroom A/C unit works great but goes into a cycle every once in a while where it shuts off then 30 seconds later starts up runs 15 seconds shuts down goes through this about 3-4 times and finally keeps running or shuts down. It may have been doing this all along and I never noticed but now I'm a little more aware of these issues. any ideas on what to do for preventative measures or is this normal? we have individual Dometic thermostats for each unit. We have the progressive hard wired EMS so any low power issues should be taken care of(shutting everything down) that has not been an issue. am I just a little paranoid or not?

Are you running it with the fan on auto. The reason I ask is that we just installed a new Dometic on our 2013 and it shuts down to change fan speeds and then goes on again. It seems to happen most often when I've got the other one shut off and it can't seem to decide what speed it needs. Turning the other one on to help it out or just putting it's fan on high seems to solve the issue every time.

we run on auto all the time when we run them.
the other one is currently out of commission so its off. never noticed this with the living room what you describe sounds right as the unit doesn't know what to do. just looking for some possible preventative measures so this one doesn't go out.
