The issue I’m having with my ac in my 2010 3400RL is when I turn the air on it takes 3 to 6 minutes before it comes on. No noise at all till it starts. After start up it work great and holds a whatever temp we have set. An RV tech worked on a cooling problem 2 yrs. ago and told me to save up my money because being the original unit it was probably reaching its expiration date. I’m thinking this delay start could be the beginning of the end. It’s been that way for a little over a year. Any ideas?

Could it just be an issue with the thermostat?

Mine is an '13 model and inputs to the thermostat seem to take a few moments to change either the AC or furnace. I would guess that jumping across the thermostat terminals could either confirm or eliminate it as a possible source of the problem.
